About the Author

My name is David. Born and raised in the Seattle area, I'm a bit of a hippy--a bit of a rolling stone as well. For the last seven years or so I was a freelance full-stack developer, working exclusively with a single client. During my freelancing years, I did business as "TerraCoders"--hence the domain for this blog. The blog really only started as a way for me to take notes: a place where I could look back on my work. The posts still serve that purpose, but over the last year or so "analytic" data has shown that I'm far from the only one who comes back to look at them. If even a few of my readers find something useful here, I'll be a happy man!

I've more recently retired from freelancing--joining a pretty nifty development team on the front-end. That means I'm no longer open to gigging, but you can read a little more about my experiences below if you like.

Someday soon, I'll come back and provide some better insight here as to who I really am! In the meantime, thanks for visiting!
